Gaskyns would like to say a big thank you to all of our loyal customers who nominated us for the Sussex Life 2014 awards in the "Best Family Dining 2014" category, and we are delighted to announce that we won!!

Gaskyns is a family run shop and licensed café. We pride ourselves in our homemade cakes and dishes and the quality of the ingredients which we use, many of which are locally sourced.

We have easy access for pushchairs and wheelchairs as well as baby changing facilities, high chairs, toddler chairs and toys for children. Wi-fi is also availiable and well behaved dogs are also permitted.

Many of our menu items and cakes are available to all as we have many vegetarian, vegan and gluten free options available. We can also do smaller portions for children.

We are located in Queen Street which is just a two minute walk from the town centre on the other side of the old bridge from the town centre. The building we are situated in is spacious and was originally part of the old Arundel Brewery when it was used as a drying house.

We also have a lovely sheltered garden which catches the sun throughout the day and has a wonderful view of one of the old oast houses which also used to be part of the brewery.

We also host events such as birthdays, wedding receptions, christening parties etc. We can section off areas for small groups during the day or dedicate the whole premises in the evenings for larger gatherings. We can cater for buffet or sit-down meals as required and are fully licenced.
